Eventually that water will recede. But where do you begin to clean up? What do you do with walls that are wet inside? Could you turn on a light switch with confidence ever again? Are you ever able to get rid of the smell?
At the moment large parts of Queensland, Australia are under water, thousands of homes inundated.
When the water recedes, I will be thinking of those who will have to tackle such a heartbreaking mess.
